Buy

The Buy section in the interface shown below allows you to purchase platform tokens (e.g., $CDG) using EVM-compatible assets like ETH. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you complete your transaction:

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

• Click Connect Wallet to link your EVM-compatible wallet (e.g., MetaMask).

• Once your wallet is connected, the Buy option becomes active.

Step 2: Select the Transaction Type

• Buy Tab: Ensure the Buy tab at the top is selected. This mode is specifically for purchasing tokens using your chosen asset (e.g., ETH or wETH).

Step 3: Enter the Amount to Spend

• From Field: Input the amount of the selected asset (e.g., ETH) you want to use for purchasing platform tokens.

• Asset Selection: By default, the transaction will use ETH on the target chain. However, you can click the arrow icon next to ETH to switch to using wETH (wrapped ETH) if needed for the specific chain.

• Quick Select Buttons: Use preset amounts like 0.05 ETH, 0.1 ETH, or 1 ETH to quickly select a value.

• Estimated Tokens: The system calculates and displays the estimated number of tokens (e.g., $CDG) you will receive based on the current rate.

Step 4: Adjust Advanced Settings (Optional)

• Slippage Tolerance:

  • Defines the acceptable price variation during your transaction.

  • For stable tokens or low-volatility trades, choose 2.5%-5%.

  • For highly volatile tokens, adjust to higher tolerances (e.g., 15%-50%).

Step 5: Execute the Purchase

• Review your transaction details and click Buy.

• Confirm the transaction in your connected wallet (e.g., MetaMask). You may need to approve the spending of assets or gas fees in your wallet pop-up.

Step 6: Verify the Purchase

• After confirming the transaction, check your wallet for the updated balance of the purchased tokens (e.g., $CDG).

• The token balance should also appear on the platform under your profile or transaction history.
